In this East Asian Medical Students’ Conference, the AMSA-Diponegoro University Public Poster Team won two awards, namely Best Public Poster and People’s Choice Public Poster. This poster attracts attention by focusing on chronic kidney disease caused by consuming supplements, dietary supplements and slimming pills. This issue is often overlooked, especially among the younger generation, who take shortcuts to achieve unrealistic beauty standards.

This year, EAMSC 2024, with the theme “Public Health and Preventive Medicine,” was held in Singapore, specifically at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and the National University of Singapore (NUS). Each conference organizes academic activities for medical students from various countries to present their research around the conference theme.

EAMSC 2024 aims to inspire medical students to analyze global health issues in more depth and utilize the role of medical students in promoting public health.

The competition encourages students to think beyond what they study at university through various academic, sociocultural, and community service activities that explore the specified conference theme.
