Diponegoro University collaborates with Baznas as a manifestation of the intention to develop quality human resources in the future. A total of 13 Undip students received study and self-development assistance. The handover ceremony for this educational assistance took place on Monday (21/8/2023) in the Meeting Room of the Rectorate Building, 2nd floor, Widya Puraya, Tembalang.
Present at the handover ceremony were the Director of Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Hanifa M. Denny, S.KM., MPH., Ph.D., Chairman of Baznas Central Java Province, K.H. Ahmad Darodji, along with his staff and scholarship recipients.
In her speech, Hanifa M. Denny, S.KM., MPH., Ph.D., said Baznas scholarships significantly benefit students. “This scholarship will be very beneficial for the recipients. Hopefully, with this scholarship, it will produce quality human resources as the next generation of pioneers of development in Indonesia,” said Hanifa.
Chairman of Baznas Central Java Province, K.H. Ahmad Darodji, expressed that we should be grateful for the blessing of independence. “Indeed, we all should be grateful amidst the euphoria of independence; with freedom and independence, we can all gather to enjoy the struggles of our predecessors. In analyzing Indonesia’s future in 2045, Indonesia will become a great nation, and all of you will play a role in realizing this aspect,” said K.H. Ahmad Darodji.
“The potential of Baznas is enormous and must be allocated properly. The funds collected in a year reach 300 million, which is a large number to utilize in building the nation. For you today who receive Baznas scholarships, be the golden generation and become quality human resources for this nation and utilize them as best as possible for your study expenses,” he added.
Then, in the event’s final session, as a symbolic gesture of handing over the Baznas scholarship assistance, KH. Ahmad Darodji handed over an extended board of assistance worth RP 52,300,000, which was received directly by Hanifa M. Denny, S.KM., MPH., Ph.D. (Warnoto/Bagas/As-PR)
