The Faculty of Medicine of Diponegoro University (FK Undip) collaborated with the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Medicine of Diponegoro University (IKA MEDICA) to respond to the recent flooding disaster that hit the Demak Regency.
As a sign of deep concern for the community, the Faculty of Medicine Undip launched a donation program on Monday (04/03) to provide direct assistance to flood victims.
The collected donations were handed over to the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) of Demak Regency. This step was taken to ensure that the assistance provided was genuinely effective and targeted.
BNPB, as the partner in distributing assistance, helped to distribute the aid to those in need.
The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Undip, Dr. dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko, M.Kes., Sp.B.Subsp.-onk(K), stated that this activity is one of FK Undip’s concerns in the form of donations to flood victims.
Dr. dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko hopes that the spirit of concern in addressing the impact of the flooding disaster in Demak is not only limited to material donations but also creates awareness and solidarity among students and alumni.
