The Rector of Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., officially inaugurated officials and appointed Non-Civil Apparatus Permanent Employees of UNDIP in the Inauguration Ceremony of Officials and Oath-Taking of the Non-Civil Apparatus Permanent Employees of UNDIP on Tuesday (16/04). The event was held on 14.00 WIB at the SA-MWA Hall, Undip Tembalang Campus.
The event was attended by the Chairman of the Academic Senate, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties/Schools, Chairwoman of the DWP UNDIP Women’s Association, guests, and UNDIP officials who were inaugurated.
The inauguration was based on the Decree of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 22/UN7.A/KP/IV/2024 to Number: 30/UN7.A/KP/IV/2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Deans, Chair of Departments, Chairs and Secretaries of Study Programs at Diponegoro University. Also, based on the Decree of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 17/UN7.A2/KP/IV/2024 and Number: 18/UN7.A2/KP/IV/2024 concerning the Appointment of Permanent Employees of Diponegoro University Non-Civil Servants.
During the inauguration, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., was inaugurated as the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) UNDIP, replacing Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si. Additionally, 7 (seven) other UNDIP officials and 2 (two) Non-Civil Apparatus Permanent Employees of UNDIP were inaugurated.
The UNDIP officials inaugurated include the Chair of the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine; Chair of the Master of Nutrition Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine; Secretary of the Master of Nutrition Science Study Program, Faculty of Medicine; Chair of the Master of Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences; Chair of the Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Secretary of the Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; and Secretary of the Communication Science Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. Furthermore, 2 (two) Non-Civil Apparatus Permanent Employees of UNDIP will occupy positions in the General and Financial Bureau and the Faculty of Law.
The oath-taking was conducted by the Rector of UNDIP, accompanied by clergy, according to each official’s beliefs. Subsequently, the Rector of UNDIP signed the oath-taking and Integrity Pact Minutes, accompanied by Prof. Ir. Edy Rianto, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU. and Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., as witnesses.
The event continued with the Signing of the Handover Minutes of the Chairwoman of DWP UNDIP of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, witnessed by the Chairwoman of the DWP UNDIP, Mrs. Asih Yos Johan Utama. Mrs. Lina Handayani Kusworo was inaugurated as the Chairwoman of DWP UNDIP of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics for the period 2024–2029, replacing Mrs. Beta Noranita Farikhin, who served as the Chairwoman of DWP UNDIP of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics for the period 2019–2024.
In his speech, the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., expressed gratitude to the outgoing officials. “To the officials who have completed their duties, I congratulate and thank you. Be thankful for ending your term of office well. To Prof. Dr. Widowati, I express my gratitude because, during her tenure as Dean, FSM UNDIP has rapidly improved, both in rankings and other achievements, and has contributed to the achievements and research that have made UNDIP a top university,” said Prof. Yos.
“I congratulate the new officials. The essence of the position is to uphold trust and responsibility. At UNDIP, there is a mechanism to ensure that the position is carried out with trust. If not, I apologize, but that’s where it ends,” added Prof. Yos.
UNDIP has been widely recognized nationally and internationally. The achievement has made UNDIP grow into a modern organization, so the selection of officials is based on the best competencies and through assessment processes. “Continue to improve services to students and innovate. Follow the existing regulations, but if there are problems, consult and coordinate with superiors immediately. Remember always to maintain manners and uphold high integrity and ethics,” Prof. Yos concluded.
