UNDIP Rector’s Message: Become a Superkeeper or Keeper Employee

Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held a ceremony for the Issuance of the Rector’s Decree (SK) regarding the Appointment of Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees of Diponegoro University on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 08:30 WIB at the Hall of the SA-MWA Building on the UNDIP Tembalang campus.

The event was attended by the Rector of UNDIP, Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties/Schools, and all officials within UNDIP, as well as the Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees ready to be inaugurated.

The Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., accompanied by Vice Rector II for Resources, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., symbolically handed over the Rector’s Decree on the Appointment of Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees of Diponegoro University to representatives of the Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees.

A total of 102 Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees of Diponegoro University received the Rector’s Decree and will be assigned to various units within UNDIP.

In his opening remarks and guidance, Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. congratulated the 102 Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees who had just received the Rector’s Decree. “Congratulations on your appointment as a Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employee of Diponegoro University. May this be a blessing for you and your families,” said Prof. Suharnomo.

Prof Suharnomo added that there is a book that outlines four categories of employees: superkeeper, keeper, solid citizen, and misfit. Superkeepers are employees who can deliver outstanding performance, keepers are those who exceed expected performance, solid citizens are employees who meet expectations, and misfits are those who fail to meet organizational expectations.

“We hope all of you fall into the superkeeper and keeper categories. Let’s avoid the misfit category. Continuously increase your contribution and value to your work. The decree also serves as a reminder for the officials to be grateful by working even better,” he added.

Furthermore, Prof. Suharnomo urged all Prospective Permanent Non-Civil Servant Employees to keep improving their performance and service and to strive to become exemplary employees.

“When you were contract employees, the performance and enthusiasm for work were high. However, once becoming permanent employees, performance and enthusiasm should not decline. Be grateful for this achievement in the form of providing the best service to students,” advised Prof Suharnomo.
