FPIK UNDIP Students Gain Achievements in FAPERTA Fair 5

Students from Diponegoro University (UNDIP) have once again made their mark with outstanding achievements. Five students from the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences (FPIK) and one student from the Vocational School of UNDIP excelled at the Futuristics and Prestige Research, Technology, and Art (FAPERTA) Fair 5, held on May 18-19, 2024, at Dhyana Pura University, Bali.

The FAPERTA Fair 5 is a national scientific writing competition organized by the Sentosa Foundation. In this event, the team of five FPIK UNDIP students won a Gold Medal in the Environmental Essay category, a Silver Medal in the HSE Poster category, a Bronze Medal in the Environmental Essay category, a Bronze Medal in the Technology Essay category, and secured the First Overall Runner-Up title under the guidance of FPIK UNDIP lecturer Kukuh Eko Prihantoko, S.Pi., M.Si.

The five FPIK students who achieved these awards are from the Department of Capture Fisheries:

  • Sholichin Adji Saputro (2022)
  • Rafi Zulmy Saputra (2022)
  • Revinda Aradea Adat (2022)
  • Andrew Rafael Kristanto (2023)
  • Zulfa Arya Ramadhani (2023)

Their success is also attributed to the support and encouragement from their lecturers, the faculty, and Bank Jateng, who sponsored the FPIK UNDIP student team for this competition.

With their national-level achievements at the FAPERTA Fair 5, Sholichin Adji Saputro, the team leader, hopes to participate in more national and even international competitions in the future. Adji is confident that he and his fellow FPIK UNDIP students can achieve even greater success.

“I also hope that FPIK UNDIP, as a faculty, can continue to show support to students who want to grow and excel,” he said.

This achievement will serve as an inspiration for other UNDIP students, encouraging more students, especially from FPIK UNDIP, to achieve outstanding accomplishments in the future.
