UNDIP Accepts 4,429 Prospective New Students for the 2024 SNBT Pathway

A total of 4,429 participants of the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK) have been accepted as prospective new students at Diponegoro University (UNDIP) through the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) for the year 2024. The 2024 SNBT results were officially announced by the National Selection Committee for New Student Admissions (SNPMB) via a press release number 06/sipres/snpmb/VI/2024 on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 15:00 WIB.

The announcement was made through the website https://pengumuman-snbt-snpmb.bppp.kemdikbud.go.id, where participants could enter their UTBK-SNBT 2024 Registration Number and Date of Birth as per their registered personal data in the SNPMB system.

A total of 145 higher education institutions participated in the 2024 SNBT, comprising 75 Academic State Universities (Perguruan Tinggi Negeri / PTN), 26 State Islamic Religious Universities (Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Negeri / PTKIN), and 44 State Polytechnics as Vocational State Universities. These institutions offered a total capacity of 272,248 seats. The total number of 2024 SNBT registrants was 785,058 high school graduates, consisting of:

  • 358 high school (SMA) graduates,
  • 656 vocational high school (SMK) graduates,
  • 871 Islamic high school (MA) graduates,
  • 968 graduates from partnership education units (SPK SMA)
  • 205 graduates from other schools.

In the 2024 SNBT, Diponegoro University (UNDIP) ranked fourth in the number of applicants, with a total of 85,734 applicants. Furthermore, UNDIP achieved several notable accomplishments in the 2024 SNBT:

  1. 1st place in the category of Academic State Universities with the Most Applicants,
  2. 6th place in the category of Academic State Universities with the Highest Average UTBK Scores,
  3. 7th place in the category of Vocational Programs with the Highest Average UTBK Scores,
  4. 10th place in the category of Vocational Programs with the Most Applicants,
  5. Occupational Safety and Health Study Program, Faculty of Public Health, ranked 3rd in the category of Most Competitive Academic Programs,
  6. Digital Business Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, ranked 9th in the category of Most Competitive Academic Programs.

“These data show that UNDIP remains one of the favorite campuses chosen by high school graduates and equivalent,” said Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs at UNDIP, in an interview with the UNDIP Public Relations team on Friday, June 14, 2024.
