The championship was attended by 610 athletes, consisting of two categories: the general category, with 268 beginner athletes and 219 youth athletes from 26 dojos; and the student category, with 123 students from 10 universities across four provinces: Central Java, West Java, DKI Jakarta, and Yogyakarta (DIY).

“For the UKM Shorinji Kempo Dojo UNDIP contingent, 39 athletes were sent, consisting of 15 beginner athletes, 14 youth athletes, and 10 student-athletes. Alhamdulillah, our athletes succeeded in becoming the overall champions. I hope that, with this achievement, UNDIP will provide additional funding for athlete development and additional training and competition facilities,” Niken hoped.

One of the UNDIP Kempo athletes, I Gede Gohan Adiputra, expressed his happiness at winning the overall champion title in the 2024 championship held for the first time on the UNDIP campus. “We are certainly very proud to bring UNDIP’s name to victory at the national championship level attended by universities nationwide,” said Gede.
