Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) students are known for outstanding achievements. One of them is Farhan Gimnastiar Maslihan, a student from the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology (TRKI) program at UNDIP Vocational School, who has a myriad of achievements, including being a recipient of the Magang Merdeka Program (MSIB Batch 6) by Kemendikbukristek.
Farhan, as he is commonly called, is an active student involved in various academic and non-academic activities. He participates in organizations such as the Industrial Chemical Engineering Technology Student Association (HMTRKI) and the Student Executive Board (BEM) of UNDIP Vocational School, where he serves as the head of the Research and Science Division.
Moreover, Farhan holds seven Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), including copyright for Diabetes Mellitus Medication (EC00202394478), Tukutaco Food Processing, Antibacterial Liquid Detergent from Kersen Leaf Extract (EC0020245512), Parang Curigo Batik Design of Pemalang (EC00202384338), Sitapak Simonglang Batik Design (EC00202384332), Tresno Batik Design of Pemalang (EC00202385179), and Tanduran Batik Design of Pemalang (EC00202385178).
Other notable achievements include being a recipient of national funding for the Student Creativity Program for Exact Research (PKM-RE) organized by the Kemendikbudristek, recipient of the financing for the Desa Energi Berdikari Program by Pertamina Foundation, recipient of funding for the Community Empowerment Program (P2MD) by the Directorate General of Vocational Education, recipient of the financing for the Vocational Young Entrepreneur Program, First Runner-Up in Student Art Week Poetry Reading Contest in Jawa Tengah, First Place in the Diponegoro Art Competition Poetry Reading, and an author of an international journal.
Currently, Farhan is part of the Bioavtur research team of the TRKI Vocational Program at UNDIP, using waste cooking oil as raw material, and is in the process of patent registration, IPR application, and drafting an international publication.
These achievements led Farhan to be accepted for the Magang Merdeka Kampus Merdeka Internship Program at three leading companies: PT Kaltim Methanol Industri, PT Pertamina Kilang Internasional Unit VI, and PT Semen Gresik Rembang.
