Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dharma Eka Tjipta Widjaja Foundation. The signing ceremony was conducted by UNDIP Rector, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., and the Foundation’s Chairperson, Tjhin Hong Ling, at the Widya Puraya Building, Universitas Diponegoro, on Monday, October 28, 2024.
The event was witnessed by UNDIP Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, Wijayanto, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., the Dean of the Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., as well as representatives from the Dharma Eka Tjipta Widjaja Foundation. The collaboration covers the fields of education, research, and community service.
The Foundation’s Chairperson, Tjhin Hong Ling, expressed hope that the partnership with UNDIP could support the improvement of human resource quality in Indonesia. “We are committed to enhancing the quality of human resources in Indonesia, and for this, we need support from universities like UNDIP,” he said.
UNDIP Rector warmly welcomed the partnership and expressed appreciation to the Dharma Eka Tjipta Widjaja Foundation for the opportunity provided. During the meeting, the Rector also highlighted various community service programs carried out by UNDIP, including the provision of desalination machines in Demak, Jepara, and Blora.
The collaboration with the Dharma Eka Tjipta Widjaja Foundation is expected to have positive impacts on both institutions, especially in enhancing education quality and expanding the reach of development programs that benefit the broader community. (Hng-Public Relations)
