As an effort to enhance competence and maintain a sustainable quality assurance cycle, LP2MP of Universitas Diponegoro conducted benchmarking with the Quality Assurance and Reputation Unit (Satuan Penjaminan Mutu dan Reputasi Universitas / SPMRU) of Universitas Gadjah Mada. This benchmarking activity took place on Friday, September 27, 2024, in the Archive Meeting Room, Library and Archives of Universitas Gadjah Mada. The LP2MP of Universitas Diponegoro team was led by the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Naniek Utami Handayani, S.Si., M.T., accompanied by the Secretary of the Internal Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Diana Puspita Sari, S.T., M.T., along with a team of six members.
Upon arrival at the Archive and Library Meeting Room of Universitas Gadjah Mada, the LP2MP of Universitas Diponegoro team, together with teams from Universitas Andalas, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, and Universitas Ibrahimy, were welcomed by the Head of SPMRU Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Dr. Indra Wijaya Kusuma, M.BA., the Quality Assurance Coordinator of SPMRU Universitas Gadjah Mada, Prof. Dr. L. Hartanto Nugroho, M.Agr., and the Data Coordinator of SPMRU Universitas Gadjah Mada, Rosi Setyorini, SH, M.Sc.
Prof. Dr. L. Hartanto Nugroho, M.Agr., presented the implementation of SPMI at UGM, covering the roles and responsibilities of SPMRU UGM, SPMI documents, standards and quality indicators applied at UGM based on Rector’s Regulations, support systems used for quality assurance activities, quality audit targets carried out by UGM, as well as plans and strategies for the development of SPMRU UGM’s Internal Quality Assurance System. The visit aimed to exchange knowledge and experiences, particularly regarding the mechanism for conducting effective, targeted, and continuous Internal Quality Audits in line with the PPEPP cycle.
The benchmarking session concluded with a group photo and the presentation of a souvenir from the Head of the Internal Quality Assurance Center of LP2MP UNDIP to the Head of SPMRU UGM. Through this activity, innovations in educational quality assurance will emerge, positively impacting society and the development of higher education institutions and fostering a strong commitment to continuously improving quality assurance at each university.
