UNDIP Holds Eazy Passport Event and Collaborates with Immigration Office of Semarang City to Provide Global Community Services

UNDIP, Semarang (February 17) – In an effort to provide global services for its academic community, the International Office of Universitas Diponegoro has once again collaborated with the Class I Immigration Office TPI Semarang to organize the Eazy Passport event. This session marks the second time the Eazy Passport program has been held, offering passport issuance and renewal services for the entire UNDIP academic community. The event takes place on February 17-18, 2025, at the Muladi Dome UNDIP multipurpose hall in Semarang. This second batch of the Eazy Passport program also includes services for electronic passport issuance with a validity of five and ten years.

The UNDIP International Office team explained that the collaboration between UNDIP and the Class I Immigration Office TPI Semarang has been successfully reestablished, bringing benefits to many, in line with the tagline “Noble and Valuable UNDIP.”

The Head of the Class I Immigration Office TPI Semarang, Guntur Sahat Hamonangan, who was also present at the Muladi Dome, stated that this collaboration with UNDIP is part of the Eazy Passport program, which was previously held in 2024.

Guntur added, “As per the expectations of UNDIP’s Rector, Prof. Suharnomo, this service will be further developed into a dedicated space, such as a corner or lounge, designed to facilitate passport processing for Indonesian citizens as well as residence permit documents for foreign nationals. This service corner will also be established in the Muladi Dome UNDIP and will be open to the public.”

In addition to enabling UNDIP’s academic community to become more globally connected, the Eazy Passport program also aims to assist residents from outside Semarang City, such as those from Semarang Regency, Salatiga City, and other surrounding areas, in obtaining passport services more efficiently. UNDIP remains committed to providing accessible services and meaningful assistance to local communities, the wider public, and the nation. (Titis – Public Relations)
