UNDIP to Host ICOPH-TCD 2025: International Conference on Public Health in Tropical and Coastal Regions

The Faculty of Public Health at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) will once again host The 6th International Conference on Public Health for Tropical and Coastal Development (ICOPH-TCD), to be held virtually on July 30–31, 2025.

Carrying the theme “Public Health Resilience in Tropical and Coastal Areas,” the conference serves as a strategic scientific forum to strengthen public health resilience in tropical and coastal regions.

This year’s conference will feature keynote speaker Ir. Budi Gunadi Sadikin, CHFC, CLU (Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia – pending confirmation), along with prominent experts from various countries, including:

  1. Prof. Yothin Sawangdee, Ph.D. (Mahidol University, Thailand)
  2. Prof. Elena N. Naumova, Ph.D. (Tufts University, USA)
  3. Tsheten, B.Sc., MPH, Ph.D. (Australian National University, Australia)
  4. Ts. Dr. Ismaniza Ismail (Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia)
  5. Prof. drg. Zahroh Shaluhiyah, MPH, Ph.D. and Prof. Hanifa M. Denny, SKM, MPH, Ph.D. (Universitas Diponegoro, Indonesia)

A special session will highlight critical issues, including agriculture, pesticide exposure, and organic dust, all of which have a significant impact on public health.

Selected articles from the conference will be eligible for publication in reputable national and international journals, including those indexed in Scopus Q2 and Q4, SINTA 2 and 3, and Scopus-indexed proceedings.
