UNDIP, Semarang (September 8, 2025) – The 9th International Conference on Translational Medicine and Health Sciences (ICTMHS) 2025, organized by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), was successfully held on September 6–7, 2025, at the Gumaya Tower Hotel, Semarang. The event featured international speakers from leading universities, including Harvard Medical School.
With the theme “Bridging the Gap: Translating Evidence-Based Research into Effective Public Health Systems for Global Impact,” the conference served as an important platform for collaboration among researchers, clinicians, policymakers, and public health professionals.
Renowned international speakers joined from Harvard Medical School, Harvard TH Chan of Public Health, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, Kagoshima University, Japan, Hiroshima University, Japan, Universiti Malaya, Malaysia and 12 leading speakers from various universities in Indonesia. Additionally, oral and poster presentations provided opportunities for young researchers and practitioners to present their work and exchange innovative ideas.
More than 250 participants from Oman, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia attended the conference, engaging in discussions that underscored the importance of transforming evidence-based research into practical strategies for building stronger and more resilient health systems, both nationally and globally.
In his opening remarks, Dr. dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko, M.Kes, Sp.B., Subsp.Onk(K), Dean of UNDIP’s Faculty of Medicine, emphasized the significance of this conference in strengthening Indonesia’s role in global health collaborations, highlighting UNDIP’s commitment to bridging science and practice to improve health systems.

The successful implementation of the 9th ICTMHS reflects UNDIP’s dedication to fostering international partnerships, driving scientific innovation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of healthcare systems and public health worldwide.
