UNDIP, Semarang (November 16, 2025) – The Diponegoro Golf Community (DGC) once again held the UNDIP Golf Tournament & Charity 2025, an event that not only highlights sportsmanship in golf but also strengthens the spirit of sharing and social care. As the peak of this year’s charity activities, the committee presented a donation of IDR 500 million to Universitas Diponegoro for an Endowment Scholarship.
The UNDIP Golf Tournament & Charity is a collaboration between DGC Central and DGC Jawa Tengah–DIY, held on Saturday, 15 November 2025 at Semarang Royale Golf, with two tee-off sessions at 06:30 AM and 12:00 PM.
As part of its social commitment, the Diponegoro Golf Community (DGC) combines sports activities with charity initiatives involving the UNDIP academic community, alumni, and partners. The event also competed for the Rector’s Rotating Trophy, fostering togetherness and camaraderie.
Participants also had the chance to win a Grand Lucky Draw with five ALVA N3 units and other prizes, including electronic devices and cash rewards. These prizes were prepared as a token of appreciation for participants who supported the charity efforts during the tournament.
The Chair of Diponegoro Golf Community in Jawa Tengah–DIY, Triyanto D. Hastanto, S.T., stated that the event’s core values are solidarity and social contribution. “UNDIP Golf Tournament & Charity is a platform to bring more people together in meaningful activities. Beyond building camaraderie through sports, we want to emphasize that this event also carries a social mission to create a positive impact on society,” Triyanto said.
UNDIP Rector Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si. welcomed the organization of the Golf Tournament & Charity 2025 by DGC. He emphasized that UNDIP not only supports an excellent and competitive academic ecosystem but also provides space for its academic community to develop non-academic skills such as arts and sports.
“This tournament serves as a collaborative space for UNDIP, alumni, partners, and the golf community to support and contribute together. The spirit of charity is the essence we want to uphold in events like this to maximize benefit continuously,” the Rector said.
Raihan Yudanto won the UNDIP Rector’s Cup. The event concluded with a Prize Giving & Gala Dinner at the Semarang Royale Golf ballroom on Saturday, 15 November 2025 at 6:30 PM, featuring live music to celebrate the participants’ camaraderie. The list of winners is as follows:
