UNDIP has risen from 27th place last year to 4th place in 2025, demonstrating that our student development strategy and mentoring efforts have been extremely effective. I am very proud and grateful for the hard work of the students, supervising lecturers, and the entire team who worked day and night,” he said.
Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Ir. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., conveyed his deep appreciation for the efforts of all teams. “There are no words other than gratitude. A year ago, we returned feeling dispirited because we were in 27th place. But we rose and gave our best. Tonight, God has granted us extraordinary honor. Results will never betray effort. This achievement is not the end, but a momentum for us to become better tomorrow,” he remarked.
Prof. Heru emphasized that this success is the result of collective work from all parties, including students, supervising lecturers, and the PKM UNDIP’s Task Force. “This is our shared achievement. I thank the students, lecturers, and all teams involved for their dedication. This experience will enable UNDIP to move forward with greater confidence in future competitions,” he stated.
He also encouraged students not to stop at this success. He stressed that UNDIP’s achievements at PIMNAS are not a final milestone, but a stepping stone for continued growth. “This is not the end. Keep improving your efforts because not everyone good or excellent wins a medal, but your hard work still matters. This result becomes a foundation for moving further, and we believe you can achieve even greater accomplishments in the future,” Prof. Heru concluded.
Universitas Diponegoro remains committed to strengthening research development, innovation, and student competencies through continuous mentoring. The achievement at the 38th PIMNAS serves as both a turning point and motivation to achieve even better results in the coming years. (Public Communication/UNDIP/Hng)
