UNDIP, Musi Rawas (September 19, 2025) – The UNDIP Patriot Expedition Team, a collaboration between Universitas Diponegoro and the Ministry of Transmigration of the Republic of Indonesia, assigned to the Simpang Rimau–Muara Kelingi locus in Musi Rawas Regency, South Sumatra, conducted coordination meetings with several local government agencies to support program outputs. These meetings focused on requesting the spatial data required as the basis for developing the potential of transmigration areas.
The coordination sessions were held on Friday, September 19, 2025, involving three key agencies: the Musi Rawas Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office, the Musi Rawas Regency Public Works, Human Settlements, and Housing Office, and the Musi Rawas Regency Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA).
Team 2 of the Patriot Expedition, led by Robetmi Jumpakita Pinem, S.AB., MBA., Ph.D., with members Adam Patria Nusantara, S.PWK.; Muhammad Nadif Rizqulloh, S.I.Kom.; Nadiroh, S.P.; and Rizki Dwi Setyowati, S.T., worked collaboratively to collect field data. The team’s visits to government offices were also accompanied by a special team from the Musi Rawas Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office, which coordinated meetings with these agencies.
During the meetings, the team met directly with Alexander Akbar, S.E., M.E., Head of the Musi Rawas Regency Manpower and Transmigration Office, as well as representatives from the Public Works, Human Settlements, and Housing Office and the Regional Development Planning Agency (BAPPEDA). This coordination is expected to be a strategic step toward strengthening synergy between the expedition team and local governments, enabling comprehensive and sustainable mapping of the potential of transmigration areas. The spatial data obtained will serve as the basis for formulating area development strategies, mapping leading commodity potentials, and planning more directed development in transmigration areas.
