UNDIP, Semarang (21/4) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) reaffirms its commitment to conducting an inclusive national selection process by providing special facilities for participants with disabilities in the 2026 Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) for the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT). This initiative ensures that all participants, without exception, have equal opportunities and adequate access to the exam. Assistance is provided proportionally to maintain the integrity of the examination while ensuring the comfort of participants with special needs throughout the process.
As part of service optimization, UNDIP has mapped out disability-friendly exam locations, including buildings with elevators and adaptive testing rooms. This year, a total of six participants with disabilities are taking the exam at the UNDIP UTBK center, consisting of three participants with physical disabilities and three with hearing impairments. Participants are strategically placed, including at the Faculty of Law, which offers elevator access and seating arrangements tailored to support mobility needs.
The Vice Chair for Educational Development at the Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LP2MP) UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LLM., stated that all service procedures have been designed to align with national standards without compromising strict supervision. She emphasized that UNDIP pays close attention to technical details on-site to minimize physical barriers for participants. This statement demonstrates that the university is not only focused on academic aspects but also on humanitarian values and equitable access to education.
In her statement, Prof. Paramita highlighted the readiness of facilities at the exam locations, noting that coordination among units has been carried out optimally. “Alhamdulillah, the participants with disabilities have expressed satisfaction with the facilities provided by UNDIP. We have prepared and adjusted our facilities to meet their needs as thoroughly as possible,” she explained.
While providing these special services, UNDIP continues to enforce strict security protocols for all participants, including the use of metal detectors to prevent cheating. These measures are implemented in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) set by the central committee to maintain the credibility of the examination results.
Through the synergy between inclusive services and rigorous supervision, UNDIP hopes that the implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2026 will run smoothly and fairly, providing a supportive testing experience for all prospective students. (Public Communication/UNDIP/Riri)
