UNDIP, Semarang (22/6) – As a green campus recognized as the second most sustainable university in Indonesia, Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) continues to demonstrate its strong commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We also seek support in obtaining certifications related to waste treatment and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) in accordance with PT Tribaliv Green Solutions’ areas of expertise,” said the Rector.

PT Tribaliv Green Solutions CEO Trigo Neo Starden expressed the company’s readiness to support UNDIP in implementing waste-to-energy programs, in line with its vision of ‘sustainable solutions for a better tomorrow.’ “Thank you for your trust in establishing this partnership. We hope it will generate meaningful outcomes for Indonesia and UNDIP. In the future, we can further discuss sustainable practices while considering socio-economic aspects,” he stated.

The event continued with a discussion session led by Vice Rector Wijayanto, S.I.P., M.Si., Ph.D. Together with UNDIP researchers and faculty members, participants explored collaborative opportunities centered on the Tridharma of Higher Education and developed a step-by-step framework to ensure the smooth implementation of the partnership. Potential initiatives discussed included waste management programs at UNDIP’s Jepara Campus, the establishment of a training center, and certification-oriented training programs.

Through this collaboration and discussion, higher education institutions are expected to play an active role in producing impactful innovations for effective waste management while increasing public awareness of sustainability. (Public Communication/UNDIP/Titis)
