UNDIP, Semarang (14/8) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has established a strategic partnership with Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) held at the Widya Puraya Building, UNDIP, on Friday (August 14, 2026). The meeting was attended by university and faculty leaders from both institutions to formulate concrete collaborations to advance the Tridharma of Higher Education.
UNDIP Rector, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., welcomed the collaboration initiative as an effort to strengthen networks among higher education institutions. “We are very welcome to collaborate in various areas. In the future, we can explore many practical opportunities, including research and international publications. Above all, we are very grateful for this visit, and hopefully, there will be many things we can accomplish together,” said Prof. Suharnomo.
On the same occasion, UBSI Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Mochamad Wahyudi, M.Kom., M.M., M.Pd., IPU, ASEAN Eng., expressed his appreciation for the warm reception from UNDIP. Prof. Wahyudi explained that the partnership represents an important step for UBSI to continuously improve the quality of its education and campus governance through knowledge and experience sharing with UNDIP, which has established a reputation as one of Indonesia’s leading universities.
“We hope this MoU will not be merely administrative. We want to see genuine implementation of the collaboration. In particular, we would like to learn how the Faculty of Law at UNDIP is managed, considering that we currently have only three law study programs, as well as the procedures for establishing a Professional Accounting Program, which is currently one of our development targets,” said Prof. Wahyudi.
The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for knowledge exchange, particularly in human resource development, Informatics research, and the strengthening of university governance. Key areas of cooperation include curriculum alignment, community service, and research collaboration on the latest technological developments.
Both universities are committed to following up on the agreement through technical programs at the faculty and study program levels. The synergy between UNDIP, one of Indonesia’s leading universities, and UBSI, a higher education institution with strong expertise in information technology, is expected to contribute positively to improving the quality of higher education at the national level.
