TUESDAY (July 10, 2018), a total of 22 prospective pilgrims from Diponegoro University (Undip) will embark to Holy Land Mecca on this year. In his speech, Undip Rector Prof. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum suggested that the prospectoves pilgrims need to keep their health, focus on worship, and be humble.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos said the worship is very important as hajj pilgrimage is one of pillars of Islam teachings.
“Hajj pilgrimage is the fifth pillar of Islam. Allah (God) will repay all of your expenses for the pilgrimage,” Rector said.
Rector also suggested to all prospective pilgrims for being honest in worshiping, and to pray for Undip welfare.
“It means don’t do the pilgrimage by forced. Please do it by your genuine awareness and by sincere heart. So, your pilgrimage can imprint your religious side, and you can safely go home,” Rector said.
One of representatives of the pilgrims Tri Jatmiko Wahyu Prabowo, S.E.,M.Si., Akt., P.hD thanked to Undip and committee who held the release ceremony. Tri Jatmiko also offered apology for his words and deeds as well as requested a prayer for their pilgrimage in smoothness.*
