“Community Service is not merely about implementing academic theories; it is also about learning social engagement, understanding community needs, and collaborating with village officials,” stated Adnan Fauzi.
The Gelar Karya event highlighted not only culinary innovations but also technological advancements. Some of the featured projects included an automated irrigation system, solar-powered lamps, natural hand sanitizers, water filtration training, and livestock management programs.
Through this initiative, the benefits extend beyond the participating students and reach the broader community. Besides fostering village development, the UNDIP Community Service program also aims to inspire local youth to pursue higher education and play an active role in their region’s progress.
