UNDIP, Semarang (August 4, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro’s Faculty of Psychology held a Visiting Professor Program as part of UNDIP’s 2025 World Class University initiative to strengthen academic reputation, expand research networks, and build international collaboration.
The program, held from July 26 to August 3, 2025, featured Prof. Bora Lee, Ph.D., from the Department of Education at Korea University. Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Prof. Dian Ratna Sawitri, S.Psi., M.Si., Ph.D., stated that the visit provided international exposure for faculty and students while reinforcing global research partnerships.
Prof. Bora Lee collaborated on research with Prof. Dian and served as a speaker at the Bilateral Psychology International Summer Community Engagement and Visit to Cultural Heritage (PSYCHE), attended by doctoral students from INTI International University, Malaysia, on the topic “Navigating Career Development as an Academician.” She also spoke at the Early Career Jam Session on “Building Young Faculty’s Academic Competence for Career Sustainability and Institutional Development,” alongside Galang Lutfityanto, Ph.D., from Wenzhou-Kean University, China.
In these sessions, Prof. Bora emphasized the importance of cross-national academic networks, while Galang discussed workplace spirituality and its relevance to faculty’s sense of meaning in work. The program produced an Implementation of Arrangement and a scholarly article titled “Predictors and Consequences of Vocational Identity Status in Indonesian Undergraduate Students.”
These outcomes expanded UNDIP’s portfolio of cooperation documents with world-class universities and reputable international publications, with the collaboration expected to continue sustainably and contribute to the university’s advancement. (Public Communication/ UNDIP/ F.Psi)
