SEMARANG- Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang will build six floors building for Study Program of Magister and Doctoral of Faculty of Science and Math. The building named “Asyntia Prasada” was started to be built on July 2018 and will be finished by the end of March 2019.
That is said by Representative of PPK FSM Ir. Baskoro Rochaddi, M.T when he led cornerstone laying ceremony of the building at Undip FSM campus, Tembalang, Friday (August 3, 2018). Baskoro also said that plan to construct the building has been carried out in 2015 and budgeted of 33.3 billion rupiahs on 2018 for a building area of 3000 m2.
Meanwhile, Undip Rector Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H.,M.Hum said the foundation of the FSM’s magister and doctoral can trigger increasing of human resources of Undip’s civitas academica. Rector strongly supports lecturers for doctoral study and supports students who will do research in abroad college.
The Rector hoped that the construction of FSM’s postgraduate building is going to run smoothly, on time, be right quality, and keeps on doing regulatory compliance.
In her speech, Dean of FSM Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si. said that utilization of the building is primarily for lecturing FSM’s postgraduate students supported by library and laboratory. The dean added that a hall will be constructed on the 6th floor of “Asyntia Prasada” building for venue of seminars (national and international ) and doctoral exam.
