A professor’s degree is the highest degree in the academic field. It takes a credit score of 850 points to reach this highest title. The credit score is obtained from dedication in implementing the Tridharma of Higher Education covering education, research and community service.
Academics with doctoral degrees and professors must be able to present new ideas and put their knowledge in writing in the form of scientific works and books. Currently Undip continues to encourage academics, especially those who earn doctorates to improve publications, especially international publications. Undip also continues to try sending lecturers to school and supporting international publications. The source quoted from www.scimagojr.com explains that Indonesia is currently at the 2nd place in ASEAN for the number of international publications.
In his statement, the Head of the Undip Academic Senate, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sunarso, M.Sc. said that, “Currently, undip has 124 active professors and will continue to increase with the six professors who have presented their papers in front of the Academic Senate and have been approved by the Council of Professors”. “And in the near future there are also potential candidates for professors to be proposed,” he concluded.
