Faculty of Medicine Undip have took the oath of 29 new doctors graduating from the Medical Profession study program at the Tembalang campus on Thursday (01/08/2019). The oath of the 227th doctor for the first period of 2019 was attended by a number of officials including the Minister of RISTEKDIKTI, the Rector of Undip, the Head of Central Java IDI, the Head of the Central Java Provincial Health Office, and the academic civitates.
During the event, dr. Arynal Haq was receiving the results of the doctor’s competency test accompanied with her father Prof. Mohamad Nasir (Minister of Research in Technology and Higher Education) and her Mother succeeding in achieving a GPA of 3.91 (cumlaude).
Prof. Nasir, during his speech, expressed his deepest gratitude and appreciation to the leaders and the entire academic civitates of Diponegoro University, especially the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP for the contribution so that today his daughter are able to achieve her oath as new doctors whom expected to be keen, trustworthy, and able to contribute to development of national health, as well as increasing the competitiveness of Indonesian medical personnel.
“In the medical sector, the presence of the industry 4.0 will also contribute significantly (especially in terms of medical technology). According to the Asian Hospital & Healthcare Management 2018, medical devices in the future will form “the internet of medical things” (IoMT), where technology, medical devices, and applications will be integrated and able to personalize special medical devices that are appropriate for patients both for early detection of disease prevention and treatment, to the surgical process that is assisted by robots. The transition of this era is an inevitable stream and becomes a big challenge for all of us to be able to be superior and competitive. Therefore, to you, young leaders of this era you must be professional and sensitive to the development of the age “concluded Prof. Nasir.
The Undip Rector Prof. Yos Johan Utama congratulated the doctors, who had completed their studies well.
“You are the selected individuals, who have been forged by learning and mentoring practices by experts at Diponegoro University. Therefore, your responsibility as a successor in the field of medicine is to maintain the dignity of the doctor’s profession, “said the Undip Rector.
