Undip Vocational School have received a visit from Professor Markus Freiburghaus from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern (FHNW) of Switzerland just recently.
This activity is part of a Visiting Professor Program series through the World Class Professor scheme. The aim for Visiting Professor activity is to improve the quality and quantity of international publications for the academic community at Diponegoro University.
During his visit, Professor Freiburghaus has also had the opportunity to conduct scientific discussions and meetings with lecturers, students and leaders of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, few of them were the Applied Bachelor Program in Management and Logistics Administration.
In addition, a Public Lecture themed Swiss Education System was also being held with an interactive success wherein the invitees had the opportunity to directly study on the Education System in Switzerland, especially in the field of Vocation.
Undip Vocational School Dean Prof. Budiyono who was accompanied by the Head of the International Affairs Office of Vocational School Anggun Puspitarini Siswanto, ST, PhD stated that Professor Freiburghaus is the Dean of the School of Business at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Prof. Budiyono hoped that this collaboration can benefit both institutions whether it is in the field of student exchanges, guest lecturer programs as well as joint research programs and co-authorship in writing scientific articles in international journals.
