Jacotama Team: Coconut Charcoal Briquettes from Diponegoro University won 3rd Place in Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship (Kewirausahaan Mahasiswa Indonesia/KMI) AWARD, Indonesian Student Business Competition (KBMI) category, Production/Cultivation subcategory.
KMI Expo is an activity that is held annually by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and in 2021, KMI Expo XII will be held by Brawijaya University. This activity is carried out to support the Free Learning – Independent Campus policy which is expected to encourage students to become graduates who are characterized, innovative, and competitive.
Jacotama is a producer and supplier of coconut derivative products with the concept of WIRAKOPERASI (entrepreneurship) to improve the welfare of coconut farmers, reduce coconut plantation waste significantly, and run a sustainable business model. Coconut charcoal bio briquettes is a low ash product, without odor, made from 100% natural ingredients without chemicals, has a long burning time, and is available in various forms. The coconut sugar products or known as Arkacoco which is made from 100% real coconut nectar, is free from chemical additives, synthetic dyes, and food preservatives, with distinctive flavors such as sweet and savory melted caramel and in accordance with organic standards. With these advantages, the products are expected to be in demand by the world market.
The Undip Jacotama team conveyed that KMI Expo was a space for sharing experiences and establishing relations.
