Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip), Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., officially inaugurated officials at Diponegoro University on Tuesday (12/04) at 10.00 AM at the SA-MWA Building Hall, Undip Tembalang campus. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Undip Rector, Vice Rectors, Chair of Academic Senate, Chair of Board of Trustees, Deans of Faculties and School, and Diponegoro University officials.
The event continued with the reading of the Decree of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number 2093/UN7.P/KP/2022 to the Number 2514/UN7.P/KP/2022 concerning Appointment of Head of Study Programs, Secretary of Study Programs, and Head of Units in Faculties at Diponegoro University.
A total of 25 inaugurated Undip officials will occupy several positions, namely the Head of Study Program as many as 8 people, the Secretary of Study Program as many as 9 people, and the Head of Units as many as 8 people. These positions include the Head of Psychology Master Study Program (Faculty of Psychology), the Head of Law Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Law), the Head of Accounting Masters Program (Faculty of Economics and Business), the Head of Food Technology Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences), the Head of Medical Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Medicine), Head of Doctoral Professional Study Program (Faculty of Medicine), Secretary of Psychology Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Psychology), Secretary of Business Administration Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences), Secretary of Communication Science Undergraduate Study Program (Faculty of Social and Political Sciences), Head of State Administration Law Section (Faculty of Law), Head of Physiology Section (Faculty of Medicine), and Head of Forensic and Medicolegal Medicine Unit (Faculty of Medicine).
Furthermore, accompanied by their respective clergy, Undip officials were sworn in before the Undip Rector. Taking the oath is carried out according to their respective religious beliefs.
Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., in his remarks congratulated Undip officials who had been inaugurated. “Congratulations on the new duties, may Allah SWT always guide all of you and provide guidance and convenience in your works so that you can successfully carry out your duties,” he said.
In addition, Prof. Yos reminded Undip officials who had been appointed that there was a big mandate to continue advancing Diponegoro University. “There is a great mandate so that we have to work more and more because our job is to advance Undip. Guarantee that Undip will continue to develop along the time,” explained Prof. Yos.
“I don’t want to hear any comments that in study programs, for example, the service is not excellent and the employees are just lazing around. There are only two choices, resign or be dismissed. Don’t make yourself into Undip’s problem. It is better to be a part in solving Undip’s problems,” continued Prof. Yos.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos hoped that the Undip officials who have been appointed will continue to improve their performance. “I hope this position will be a blessing for your family. Improve your performance, not just the usual, it will show real gratitude. We have to work hard, decisively, carefully, and always try to be the best.
