A work visit from the team of Universitas Terbuka (UT) at Diponegoro University on Thursday (22/9) was implemented for learning purposes in gaining knowledge as well as sharing knowledge with the University on the management of Legal Entity State Universities (PTNBH). “We ask for information as well as inspiration about the process of transitioning BLU universities to PTNBH,” said Dr. Mohammad Yusuf, S.S., MA. as Vice Rector I of the Universitas Terbuka.
On the occasion, the Head of the General and Finance Bureau, Drs. Mulyo Padmono also said that this activity would be a medium for exchanging information regarding the management of PTNBH Undip.
While the Manager of Law, Organization, Administration and Protocols, Tri Susanto, S.H. explained about Undip Governance as a PTNBH. The Undip staffing system includes planning and determining needs; procurement of employees; career development, competence, and position; performance assessment; welfare and remuneration; protection; discipline; appreciation; penalty; and termination and retirement of employees.
There have been changes, including structuring the tasks of existing units such as changing the name of the Vice Rector, Bureau, Directorate, and Office; clarified level of position: Institutions, agencies, bureaus, directorates, and offices; establishment of new units according to organizational needs including the University Advisory Board, Business Management Agency, Commercial Business, and Risk Analysis, Technical Implementation Unit for Safety, Occupational Health and Environment, University Secretary and Protocol Office, Forest Zone Office with Special Purposes; Elimination of structural positions of Echelon III (Head of Section) and Echelon IV (Head of Subdivision), replaced with additional duties of Manager (equivalent to Echelon III) and Supervisor (equivalent to Echelon IV); reduction of Supervisor positions (equivalent to Echelon IV) in Faculties/Schools, from 3 to 2 according to the nomenclature of the Deputy Dean.
