Diponegoro University held the 2022 Diponegoro University Award Night event, Friday (2/12) at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang. The event is a part of Undip’s 65th Anniversary. The climax of the event was enlivened by the Guyon Waton Band from Yogyakarta.
The Undip Award Night is an award for outstanding students in scientific, sports and artistic competitions at the international, national, regional and university levels. In addition, awards were also given to outstanding lecturers and work units.
Award categories include awards for students achievement at the international level category; awards for students achievements at the national level category; awards for lecturers in the category of lecturers with the most patent achievements; awards for lecturers in the category of lecturers with the most copyrights; awards for lecturers in the productivity category of young lecturers affiliated with SINTA; awards for work units for campus cleanliness, beauty and order management competitions; awards for website rating work; and awards for work units in the category of productivity of SINTA affiliated study program.
In his remarks, the Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., conveyed that the awards were given as a motivation to continue to excel. In addition to developing talents, interests and abilities and supporting the increase in Undip’s ranking.
“Undip is one of the favorite universities in Indonesia, so tonight is a form of appreciation for the academic community, students and lecturers. To maintain achievements and increase public trust and improve welfare, every Tuesday and Wednesday Undip provides free nutritious food for students. Hopefully next year we can provide free nutritious food from Monday to Thursday,” he said.
“If you want Undip to continue to grow, let’s join the ranks of those who will soon become doctors and professors by making useful publications and journals. I hope this award will have a better impact, thanks to all parties who have worked hand in hand to improve Undip,” concluded the Rector.
