UNDIP Welcomes Visit from UNHAS

In the framework of implementing governance and improving service quality at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) towards World Class University, Unhas conducted a comparative study to Diponegoro University last week (Wednesday, 07/06/2023), located in the Rector’s Meeting Room, Widya Puraya Building, Undip Tembalang Campus, Semarang.

This activity is to study and obtain information about the Rector’s Secretariat Management System and Cooperation for Strengthening Internationalization Programs and World Class University.

Undip Vice Rector for Resources, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. welcomed the visit from Unhas. He conveyed that Undip was open to sharing experiences and sharing knowledge. He said that PTNBH is a challenge to further enhance innovation, research, and welfare. Some of the advantages of PTNBH include having broad autonomy.

Prof. Dr. Andi Pangerang Moenta S.H., M.H., DFM., as Chair of the Unhas Board of Professors, said that the comparative study as a medium adds insight and knowledge that will be applied in the future to be better.

“We want to learn about cooperation SOPs, monitoring and evaluation processes, MoUs, MoA and I.A., data and information collaboration forms, cooperation organizations, how to serve students or guests, and international researchers and permits. Meanwhile, in the Rector’s secretarial field, we would like to study the Rector’s delegation of authority to officials under him, SOPs for graduations, SOPs for correspondence, SOPs for rectorate activities such as guest lectures and visits by state officials, SOPs for media releases, SOPs for payment of activities, SOPs for guest handling, and SOPs for business trips for leadership,” said Prof. Andi.

Meanwhile, the Legal, Organizational, Administration, and Business Manager, Tri Susanto, S.H., explained that the SOPs for correspondence were based on Rector Regulation Number 5 of 2022 concerning the layout of Undip’s manuscripts management. Incoming mail for the Head Office is managed through the Administration Subdivision and processed through manuals and the SIKD (Dynamic Archival Information System) application.

“Meanwhile, the Central Office is managed through the Administrative Subdivision and processed manually, except for the Ministry of Education and Culture through the SINDE application or Electronic Service Manuscript Information System,” he concluded. (LW-Public Relations)
