We must be concerned about academic aspects and knowledge outside classes in lectures. Therefore, to increase student knowledge regarding communication skills in the world of work, the Student Association of the D3 Tax Administration study program, PSDKU Batang Campus, Diponegoro University, held a Public Lecture with the theme “Good Communication Skills in Workplace.” The event was held on Saturday, June 17, 2023, in lecture hall 204-205 PSDKU Batang Campus.
This event is a public lecture activity for D3 Tax Administration study program students at the Batang Campus to understand each other and exchange ideas about communication skills in the world of work. This activity contains material from speakers, games, and question-and-answer sessions.
This public lecture activity aims to train good communication methods for students in dealing with the world of work.
The event was fun by bringing in speakers, namely Raka Tantra Dwieqy Pamungkas, S.IP., M.Si., M.A. He worked as a Foreign Service Officer/Second Secretary of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Indonesia to the United Nations in New York. He shared his experience working abroad as a Diplomat. He provided knowledge about communication ethics to inspire, motivate, and ability to students, especially in achieving future careers. This activity also aims to exchange thoughts and opinions to add insight.
The participants of this event are D3 Tax Administration students in Batch 2020, 2021, and 2022. The students were enthusiastic about participating in this public lecture, as seen from the students’ activeness in asking questions. Apart from that, the resource persons also prepared gifts in postcards, tea, and almonds for students who asked and answered questions, namely gifts purchased directly when he was abroad. The lecturer in the D3 Tax Administration study program, Batang Campus, namely Mutiara Tresna Parasetya, S.E., M.Si., Ak. as Head of the D3 Tax Administration Study Program, Ika Pratiwi, S.E., M.Ak. as Chair of the Student Association of the D3 Tax Administration Advisor, Dian Anggraeni, S.A., M.Acc. and Dr. Retno Dwi Irianto, M.M. were present at the event.
