Diponegoro University (Undip) officially accepted an educational scholarship program for students funded by PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk. The handover event was held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 10.00 WIB at the Rector’s Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Widya Puraya Building, Undip Tembalang Campus.
This event also invited the Rector, Vice Rectors, all leaders within Undip, the Regional CEO of Bank Mandiri Region VII Java 2, the Senior Vice President of Government Solution Group PT. Bank Mandiri, Regional Transaction & Customer Head PT. Bank Mandiri, and all levels of PT. Mandiri Bank.
Representing Undip Rector, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., welcomed the scholarship program given to Undip students and expressed his gratitude to Bank Mandiri. “Representing the leaders of Diponegoro University, I would like to thank Bank Mandiri, which has always paid more attention to Undip,” said Prof Faisal.
Undip, one of Indonesia’s leading universities, has received many scholarship programs from various agencies. “In Undip, there are around 52 scholarship providers with a total value of approximately 6 billion. Alhamdulillah, this helps our students. Undip itself also provides scholarships and has committed to assisting so that it helps students in pursuing their studies. Then for undergraduate students, many get scholarship programs from big companies, both scholarships for the underprivileged and achievement scholarships, “explained Prof. Faisal.
Meanwhile, the Regional CEO of Bank Mandiri Region VII Java 2, Hendra Wahyudi, expressed gratitude for the cooperation established with Undip. “We also express our gratitude because there has been a lot of cooperation between Undip and Bank Mandiri,” said Hendra.
“We certainly hope and are always open if there are things we can support for Undip. We are ready to continue other collaborations,” he concluded.
