Semarang – Diponegoro University (Undip) warmly welcomed the delegation from O.P. Jindal Global University India, one of the universities in India, on Thursday (07/12) at the Widya Puraya Building. This visit event aimed to introduce the two universities and present the potential for collaboration between Diponegoro University and O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) in the academic and research fields.
In the remarks delivered by the JGU delegation, Prof. Dabiru Sridhar Patnaik gave a short message, “We hope this visit can be a valuable moment to establish further relations between two higher education institutions which have their respective benefits,” he said.
The meeting was filled with presentations from both parties regarding their respective universities. The activity continued with an interactive discussion regarding potential collaboration in the field of research, student exchanges, and academic community collaboration.
Next, the event closed with a closing speech from the Vice Rector for Research and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc. He expressed his welcome for the visit and warm discussion with JGU, “We see great potential in today’s discussions. Hopefully, through this meeting, it is hoped that both institutions can provide a strong foundation in another future cooperation,” he said. (AH)
