Dr. Budiyono, S.KM., M.Kes. reappointed as Dean of the Faculty of Public Health Undip for the 2024-2029 period. The inauguration was held on Monday, January 15, 2024, at the Prof. Sudarto SH Building, Undip Tembalang Campus.
This inauguration is based on the Decree (SK) of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 32/UN7.A/KP/I/2024 to Number: 81/UN7.A/KP/I/2024 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Vice Rectors, Deans, Heads of Institutions, Heads of Departments, Heads and Secretaries of Study Programs, and Supervisors within Diponegoro University.
The inauguration ceremony was led directly by the Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. In signing the Employee Oath Minutes, the Undip Rector was accompanied by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. and Prof. Ir. Edy Rianto, M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU. as witnesses.
During the leadership of Dr. Budiyono in the 2019-2024 period, the Faculty of Public Health succeeded in achieving 4th place in Indonesia for the Public Health category based on the Edurank by the 2023 Topical Ranking version. The success is in line with the commitment of the Faculty of Public Health Undip, which always continues to improve the quality of public health education for all levels.
In his speech, the Undip Rector advised the newly appointed Dean to continue the achievements achieved during the previous leadership period. “For the new Deans, we hope to improve the achievements and accomplishments that previous officials have carried out. “We strive to be better and work even greater,” said Prof. Yos.
