Undip’s Optimism in Building the Integrity Zone Towards a Region Free from Corruption and Clean and Serviceable Bureaucracy

Diponegoro University held an activity on Designing the Integrity Zone Development Work Unit and Assisting in the Completion of Evaluation Worksheets. This activity took place on February 7, 2024, at Aruss Hotel Semarang and was attended by the Vice Rector for Resources, Deans, Heads of the General and Financial Bureau, Chairs and Coordinators of the Undip Bureaucratic Reform Team, and the Undip Integrity Zone Internal Assessment Team.

This activity is a follow-up to Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Decree Number 228/0/2023 regarding the Establishment of Integrity Zone Development Work Units Towards Regions Free from Corruption within the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology in 2023. This activity also represents Diponegoro University’s optimism in being free from corruption and realizing a clean and service-oriented bureaucracy.

The event began with speeches and the signing of the work unit design by Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., as the Vice Rector for Resources. In his speech, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto emphasized that the efforts being made can make Undip even better and improve its services to all stakeholders, whether students or fellow employees, and the efforts to prevent corruption can be carried out, with the result being that corruption does not occur.

The material presentation was then continued by M. Ali Akbar and Alexander Putro from the Directorate General of Research and Technology Resources Secretariat (Sekjen Diktiristek), providing in-depth material on bureaucratic reform policy and integrity zones as well as assistance in completing evaluation worksheets.

The material was concluded by Prof. Siswo Sumardiono, who provided strategies for the engineering faculty to obtain the predicate of an Integrity Zone Region Free from Corruption (WBK). (Joshua-Public Relations)
