UNDIP and BNI Collaborate on Banking Services

Diponegoro University (UNDIP) agreed to establish cooperation with PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at the Meeting Room of the UNDIP Rectorate, Tembalang. This cooperation concerns the Higher Education Financial Ecosystem Program.

The collaboration was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding between UNDIP, represented by the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., and PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, represented by the Leader of Institutional Banking Division 2 BNI, Efrizal, and witnessed by the Director of Institutional Banking BNI, Munadi Herlambang.

The signing of MoU was followed by the signing of the Akad Wakalah Layanan Program Pensiun Iuran Pasti dan Pendistribusian Dana (Agency Agreement for the Fixed Contribution Pension Program and Fund Distribution) between UNDIP, represented by the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., and PT. Bank Negara Indonesia, represented by the Leader of Institutional Banking Division 2 BNI Efrizal, and the Fund Manager of Pension Fund of BNI Financial Institution, Endhy Maryantono.

In his speech, the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., welcomed the cooperation with PT. Bank Negara Indonesia. “I welcome the established cooperation. Hopefully, this will bring goodness for all of us,” said Prof. Yos.

Banking services are greatly needed to accelerate the development of existing programs. With the assistance of a good financial management system, these programs can run smoothly. “The speed and convenience of banking services must benefit our students,” said Prof. Yos.

Meanwhile, the Director of Institutional Banking BNI, Munadi Herlambang, hoped that this cooperation could develop cooperation in various financial transaction systems.

“In the future, financial digitalization cannot be stopped; we all hope for ease in financial transactions. With this convenience, it will certainly facilitate and add prudential aspects for all of us on both the bank side and the participant side,” explained Munadi.
