Collaboration between universities is essential for developing the quality of education and research in Indonesia. The importance of this is evidenced by the collaborative visit and comparative study conducted by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) Banjarmasin to FISIP Diponegoro University (UNDIP) on Monday, June 3, 2024.
The visit, held in the B.R.M. Antawirya Room of Building A at the FISIP UNDIP Tembalang Campus, was led by the Dean of FISIP ULM, Prof. Dr. H. Budi Suryadi, S.Sos., M.Si. The FISIP ULM delegation, consisting of six people, was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FISIP UNDIP, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin, and the Vice Dean of Resources, Ika Riswanti Putranti, S.H., M.H., Ph.D. The department and study program administrators within FISIP UNDIP were also present.
The Dean of FISIP UNDIP, Dr. Drs. Teguh Yuwono, M.Pol.Admin., welcomed the visit from FISIP ULM and expressed readiness to establish close cooperation. He hopes that this collaboration will be beneficial for both universities and contribute to the advancement of education in Indonesia.
The Dean of FISIP ULM, Prof. Dr. H. Budi Suryadi, S.Sos., M.Si., explained that the primary purpose of this visit is to build Tri Dharma cooperation between the two universities. This collaboration is expected to be realized through faculty and student exchange programs and comparative studies with the study programs within FISIP UNDIP.
The Dean of FISIP ULM also emphasized the importance of inter-university cooperation in improving the quality of education and research. Through this cooperation, the two universities can share experiences and knowledge, thereby enhancing the quality of education for their students.
This collaborative visit and comparative study are expected to provide a strong foundation for the two universities to establish closer cooperation in the future. Through this collaboration, both universities can learn and grow together, thereby improving the quality of education and research in Indonesia.
