The Vocational School of Diponegoro University (SV UNDIP) signed a Letter of Intent with the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya, on May 28, 2024. The signing was conducted by the Dean of the Vocational School UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., and the Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya, Prof. Sr. Ts. Dr. Azlan Shah Ali.
The cooperation will encompass Students Mobility, Staff Mobility, Research Collaboration, and other activities.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si., Dean of the Vocational School UNDIP, stated that collaboration with internationally reputed universities, especially those ranked in the World’s Best 100 QS Rank, is essential to encourage more strategic performance within the scope of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. He added that this initiative is an effort by the Vocational School UNDIP to enhance its reputation by establishing partnerships with world-class universities.
At the same event, Asri Nurdiana, S.T., M.T., Head of the Department of Civil and Planning at the Vocational School UNDIP, mentioned that collaboration with the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya, has been ongoing since last year. Activities such as Visiting Professor programs and various student and staff mobility initiatives are also planned for this year.
Upcoming activities include a Summer Course themed “Sustainable Building Conservation with BIM,” organized by the Vocational School UNDIP and attended by 25 students from the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya.
Additionally, students from the Vocational School UNDIP will participate in a Summer Course organized by the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya.
