The Faculty of Medicine at Diponegoro University (FK UNDIP) expresses deep condolences on the passing of M. Fakhruri, the father of the late dr. Aulia Risma Lestari, who was a student in the (PPDS) Specialist Medical Education Program in Anesthesiology at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP.
On Tuesday (27/8), a delegation from the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP, led by dr. Sigid Kirana attended M. Fakhruri’s funeral at the Panggung Public Cemetery (TPU) in Tegal. He was buried next to his daughter, (late) dr. Aulia Risma Lestari.
On this occasion, dr. Sigid Kirana, representing the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP, expressed deep condolences to the family of the deceased. The presence of the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP delegation at the funeral home was warmly received by the family of the deceased.
“When we said our farewells and met with (late) dr. Aulia’s mother, she welcomed us very kindly. She expressed her gratitude and apologized if there had been any mistakes,” said dr. Sigid Kirana.
The Faculty of Medicine UNDIP hopes that the family, especially (late) dr. Aulia’s mother is given the fortitude and strength to face this difficult time.
Separately, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP, Dr. dr. Yan Wisnu Prajoko, M. Kes., Sp.B.Subsp.-Onk(K) also conveyed deep condolences on the passing of (late) dr. Aulia’s father.
“Innalillahi wainna ilaihi rojiun. (late) dr. Aulia Risma’s father’s passing is a profound loss for all of us at the Faculty of Medicine UNDIP,” expressed Dr. Yan Wisnu.
M. Fakhruri passed away after three days of treatment at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo National General Hospital (RSCM) in Jakarta. Previously, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, had visited the family in Tegal, offering support and advising that M. Fakhruri be treated at a more suitable hospital. After being referred to RSCM Jakarta, he was treated for three days before passing away.
Minister of Health Budi also extended his condolences and hopes that the family will be granted strength and patience.
