Semarang, (October 23, 2024) – Universitas Diponegoro takes pride in being trusted as the host of the largest automotive exhibition in Central Java, organized by the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2024. The city of Semarang has been chosen as the final location for the GIIAS The Series 2024, following events in Tangerang, Surabaya, and Bandung. The selection of Muladi Dome on UNDIP’s Tembalang campus as the venue from October 23 to 27, 2024, is an exceptional honor and a source of pride for UNDIP.
The GIIAS event, The Biggest Automotive Exhibition in Semarang 2024, embraces the concept “New Location, More Brands, and Endless Innovation,” making Muladi Dome UNDIP a standout location with its spacious layout and comfortable facilities, covering a total area of 9,000 square meters.
The iconic Muladi Dome is UNDIP’s multifunctional grand hall and the largest, most magnificent facility of its kind in Central Java. Officially opened on April 5, 2024, by Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., it features three floors with a tiered seating layout and parking areas in both the front and basement. The basement includes two prayer rooms, each accommodating 150 people. Each floor offers visitors access via stairs, elevators, and escalators. The first floor includes seminar rooms, a co-working space, and multiple tenants, such as a bank, a minimarket, and a food court.
The second floor features a ballroom equipped with two movable partitions, allowing it to be divided into three rooms, each accommodating 1,500 people. Measuring 90×60 square meters, the ballroom has a total capacity of 4,500 people, with an additional 700 seats in the stands, making it the largest ballroom in Central Java.

First Route: Visitors can drive through Setiabudi Street, continue to Prof. Soedarto Street, proceed to Ngesrep Timur V Street, and then to Banyu Putih Raya Street, which leads to Muladi Dome, UNDIP.
Second Route: For visitors near the Pertamina Gombel gas station, the recommended route is via Setiabudi Street, followed by Prof. Soedarto Street, then Ngesrep Timur V Street, and finally Banyu Putih Raya Street to reach Muladi Dome, UNDIP.
Third Route: Visitors coming from the Tembalang Banyumanik toll exit can head directly to UNDIP via Prof. Soedarto Street, follow Ngesrep Timur V Street, and arrive at Banyu Putih Raya Street leading to Muladi Dome, UNDIP.
Alternative parking options for visitors arriving by car include the Muladi Dome UNDIP area, Pertamina UNDIP gas station, and UNDIP’s Shared Parking Building. At the same time, two-wheel vehicles can also park at Muladi Dome UNDIP.
