High Enthusiasm of UTBK-SNBT 2024 Participants at UNDIP

Semarang, Jawa Tengah (May 7, 2024) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), alongside other public universities across Indonesia, simultaneously conducted the 2024 UTBK-SNBT (Ujian Tulis Berbasis Komputer dan Seleksi Nasional Berdasarkan Tes) / Computer-Based Written Test for National Selection of Higher Education on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The UTBK-SNBT at UNDIP was carried out in two batches over 11 days. Batch 1 took place from April 30 to May 7, 2024, while Batch 2 will be held from May 14 to May 17, 2024.

The Rector of Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., reported that 25,398 applicants registered for UTBK at UNDIP. For this test, UNDIP provided 1,225 computer units distributed across 61 air-conditioned and comfortable examination rooms.

The 2024 UTBK-SNBT tests at UNDIP were centralized at the Tembalang campus, encompassing various faculty buildings: the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Faculty of Psychology, the Vocational School building, and the ICT Center.

The test materials included the Scholastic Potential Test (Tes Potensi Skolastik / TPS), covering literacy in Indonesian, literacy in English, and mathematical reasoning, with a duration of 195 minutes. Currently, UNDIP offers 55 undergraduate (S1) programs and 11 applied undergraduate (D4) programs through the UTBK-SNBT pathway.

Attendance data revealed a significant and consistent level of participation during the sessions conducted on April 30, 2024. In Session 1; 1,162 attendees out of 1,225 registrants, achieving a 94.86% attendance rate. Session 2; 1,190 attendees out of 1,225 registrants, achieving a 97.14% attendance rate. Furthermore, on May 2, 2024, Session 3; 1,152 attendees out of 1,205 registrants, achieving a 95.60% attendance rate. These figures underscore strong commitment and enthusiasm among participants in taking the UTBK-SNBT.

UNDIP currently offers 55 undergraduate programs, including 11 applied undergraduate programs, 62 postgraduate and professional programs, and 21 specialist and subspecialist programs. Several study programs have achieved “Excellent” accreditation and international recognition.
