We need fresh ideas that align with the expertise of the administrators,” said the Rector.

Prof. Suharnomo also highlighted the important role of Campus Mosque Management in enhancing religious activities and maintaining social harmony within the campus.

“Without the Campus Mosque’s support, it will be difficult to address issues like negative social interactions. The Campus Mosque can foster a better civilization and contribute innovative ideas,” he explained.

At the end of his speech, Prof. Suharnomo encouraged all newly appointed mosque administrators to bring positive impact and enlightenment to the surrounding community, especially students.

In his remarks, the newly appointed Chairman of the Campus Mosque Management, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., expressed gratitude to the previous UNDIP Mosque Management for their dedication and commitment and promised to continue the work even better.

Furthermore, Prof. Heru urged all Muslims to unite and respect one another, referencing Surah Ali Imran (3:103) as a guiding principle.

“The first thing we must uphold in this mission is unity and brotherhood. Let us carry out this mandate with mutual respect and togetherness,” he said.

“If differences arise, let’s find a middle ground. This guideline is our core principle in managing the UNDIP Campus Mosque. Let’s make it a thriving and welcoming place for everyone,” he added.
