UNDIP Provides Assistance to UTBK-SNBT 2025 Participants with Disabilities

UNDIP, Semarang (April 24) – The second day of the 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination – National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) proceeded in an orderly and smooth manner. On this second day, UNDIP provided special facilities and assistance for participants with disabilities to ensure comfort and equality during the selection process.

Together with all state universities across Indonesia, Universitas Diponegoro is simultaneously conducting the UTBK-SNBT 2025 from Wednesday, April 23 to May 3, 2025. This year’s UTBK is held in a single phase and serves as a crucial stage in the national selection process for entry into public universities in Indonesia.

During the second day of implementation, there was one visually impaired participant. To support this, UNDIP prepared a dedicated exam room equipped to accommodate the participant’s needs. The visually impaired test-taker was accompanied by a trained supervisor and assisted with specialized tools and settings tailored to their condition.

Prof. Dr. rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T., UNDIP’s Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, stated, “There are four registered participants with disabilities taking part in UTBK-SNBT 2025, consisting of individuals with visual, physical, and hearing impairments.” He continued, “UNDIP ensures that all of these participants receive personalized facilities and services, including access to the test rooms, specially arranged exam rooms, and support from trained supervisors.”

Prof. Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LLM., Deputy Chair of Education Development from UNDIP’s Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LP2MP), shared that 26,653 participants had chosen UNDIP as their UTBK center. To support exam implementation, UNDIP has prepared more than 1,400 computers and air-conditioned and comfortable exam rooms across buildings on both the Tembalang and Pleburan campuses.

“Our commitment is to provide a fair and equitable exam experience for all participants, without exception, especially for those with disabilities. The UTBK at UNDIP is not just about academic competition but also about creating a selection environment that is humane and dignified,” said Prof. Mita, as she is affectionately known.

Prof. Mita also explained the required items that participants must bring to the exam, which include:

  1. UTBK participant card
  2. Valid ID (student card/ID card/passport)
  3. Original graduation certificate for 2025 graduates (if not available, a letter of enrollment as a 12th-grade student is acceptable)
  4. A legalized copy of the diploma for 2023 and 2024 graduates; for those graduating from foreign-equivalent high schools, a diploma equivalency certificate is required
  5. Wearing formal attire with a neat appearance and shoes

Currently, Universitas Diponegoro offers 57 undergraduate programs and 11 applied undergraduate programs, which continue to evolve in response to the changing needs of society and the interests of prospective students from across Indonesia. The implementation of UTBK-SNBT 2025 at UNDIP is expected not only to run smoothly from a technical standpoint but also to serve as a model of inclusive, professional, and service-oriented higher education selection.
