UNDIP Ready to Host UTBK 2025

UNDIP, Semarang (April 22)Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), along with all public universities in Indonesia, will simultaneously hold the Computer-Based Written Examination of the National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) 2025 from Wednesday, April 23 to May 3, 2025. This year’s UTBK will be conducted in a single batch and will serve as a key stage in the national selection process for entry into Indonesian public universities.

According to Prof. Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., LLM., Vice Chair of Education Development at the Institute for Educational Development and Quality Assurance (LP2MP) UNDIP, the number of applicants who selected UNDIP as their UTBK test center has reached 26,653 participants. To support the implementation, UNDIP has prepared over 1,400 computers and comfortable, air-conditioned test rooms located across the Tembalang and Pleburan campuses.

Test venues at UNDIP include various faculties and schools: Faculty of Law; Faculty of Economics and Business; Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Medicine; Faculty of Humanities; Faculty of Social and Political Sciences; Faculty of Science and Mathematics; Faculty of Public Health; Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences; Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences; Faculty of Psychology; Vocational School; Postgraduate School; and the ICT Center Building. Participants will take a series of tests, including the Scholastic Potential Test (TPS) and Literacy Tests in Bahasa Indonesia, as well as English and Mathematical Reasoning.

This year, four participants with disabilities—including those who are visually impaired, physically disabled, and hearing impaired—have registered for the test. UNDIP is committed to ensuring all participants receive individually tailored facilities and services, including accessible exam locations, specially equipped rooms, and assistance from trained proctors.

“Our commitment is to provide a fair and equal testing experience for all participants, without exception. UTBK at UNDIP is not just about academic competition—it’s about creating a humane and dignified selection environment,” said Prof. Mita, as she is warmly known.

Strong interest has also been noted in the most popular programs this year. The Bachelor of Law and the Applied Bachelor in Tax Accounting programs are the top choices, with 4,204 and 4,477 applicants, respectively.

Currently, UNDIP offers 57 undergraduate programs and 11 applied bachelor programs, continuously evolving to meet the changing needs and interests of prospective students across Indonesia. The 2025 UTBK-SNBT implementation at UNDIP is expected to run smoothly and set a benchmark for an inclusive, professional, and service-oriented national selection process in higher education.
