UNDIP, Semarang (July 28, 2025) – As a tangible expression of its commitment to community service, students from Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) who are part of the Thematic Community Service Program (KKNT) Team 27 organized a Satellite Health Post (Pos Satelit Kesehatan / Poslitkes) and a Community Fun Walk with residents of Tembalang Subdistrict. The event was held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the ICT Building courtyard on the UNDIP Tembalang Campus.
This activity marked the culmination of a series of service initiatives involving 48 KKNT 27 students spread across eight community units (RW) and 35 neighborhood units (RT), in collaboration with the Tembalang Subdistrict Office and supervised by UNDIP’s Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). Carrying the theme “With KKNT 27 UNDIP, Tembalang Residents Stay Healthy and Happy!”, the event fostered a spirit of togetherness while highlighting the real contributions of UNDIP students in raising awareness about the importance of healthy living.
The Poslitkes served as a one-stop point for Tembalang residents to access basic health screenings independently and in a trained manner. This initiative is one of the flagship programs of KKNT 27 UNDIP, aimed at supporting preventive community health services around the campus.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Ing. Ir. Suherman, S.T., M.T., Head of LPPM UNDIP, who represented the Rector of UNDIP, expressed his appreciation for the students’ active involvement in community service in Tembalang and emphasized the importance of synergy between universities and the community to drive sustainable change.
“Programs like KKNT are a clear embodiment of the ‘Noble and Valuable’ values. The Poslitkes exemplifies how the university engages with the community, alongside other initiatives such as the Trash Trap installed in Kampung Tematik Hasta Karya, RW 03, Tembalang, to address flooding,” he stated.
Prof. Suherman also expressed his hope for the continuation of such collaborations in the future. “Thank you for working together to provide solutions for the community. Hopefully, this will benefit the residents of Tembalang and inspire similar activities in the coming years,” he added.
Similarly, Tembalang Subdistrict Head Asih Sri Windarti, S.T., expressed heartfelt gratitude to UNDIP for the contribution and presence of its students in her area. “We truly feel supported by the presence of these UNDIP students. They are not only physically active but also bring a spirit of change and empower our residents, particularly in health-related issues. We hope to maintain the sustainability of such programs in the future,” said Asih.

Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. dr. Sri Achadi Nugraheni, M.Kes., popularly known as Prof. Didit, stated that the launch of the Poslitkes serves as an educational approach and underscores the importance of early preventive and promotive health actions in local communities. She expressed hope that this program could be conducted periodically over the long term.
“The Poslitkes initiated by KKNT 27 is designed as a one-stop health service point at the neighborhood level. Residents can check their health independently using anthropometric tools such as digital scales, height meters, and upper arm circumference tapes,” she explained.
“RT-level health cadres received hands-on training from students on how to operate these tools—both for individual recordkeeping and for supporting data collection in Posyandu and other primary health services,” Prof. Didit added.
The Community Fun Walk, joined by around 159 participants from various RTs and guests from the Subdistrict Office and LPPM UNDIP, added excitement to the event. A shared spirit of joy and unity was amplified by the distribution of door prizes and the announcement of the best Poslitkes in Tembalang. The event concluded with a symbolic memento plaque presented to the Tembalang Subdistrict Head and a ceremonial withdrawal of KKNT 27 teams from their service locations.
This event marked the end of KKNT 27 UNDIP’s service period. It served as a reflective and hopeful moment for the continuation of similar programs that prioritize education, community empowerment, and strong collaboration between UNDIP and the residents of Tembalang.
