UNDIP, Semarang (June 15, 2025) – The Faculty of Public Health at Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) held the National Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) Seminar in collaboration with the National OHS under Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower and PT Madhani Talatah Nusantara as a strategic partner. The event marked the peak of the “Road to National OHS Seminar 2025” series.
Carrying the theme “OHS Revolution in the Digital Era: Synergy of Human Resource Development and Digital Technology to Achieve Sustainable Safety Resilience,” the seminar drew about 600 participants, including academics, practitioners, the general public, and policymakers.
Dr. dr. Sri Winarni, M.Kes., Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Public Health, opened the event, and Prof. Adian Fatchur Rochim, S.T., M.T., Vice Rector III of UNDIP, officially inaugurated it. Also present was Ahmad Aziz, S.E., M.Si., from the Jawa Tengah Provincial Office of Manpower and Transmigration, who delivered the opening speech.
Keynote speaker Muchamad Yusuf, S.T., M.Si., Director of OHS Testing Development at the Ministry of Manpower, presented “Safety Resilience in the Digital Era: Strategies for HR Development to Implement Effective and Adaptive OHS Management Systems (SMK3).”
He outlined projections and plans for OHS digitalization from a policy perspective, providing a crucial guide for creating safer, more innovative workplaces nationwide.
Mas Ibnu Sri Fuqoha, S.K.M., HSE Superintendent at PT Madhani Talatah Nusantara, discussed “The Future of OHS: Integrating Smart Technology for OHS Risk Management,” sharing theories and best practices from his company’s successful digitalization initiatives, and illustrating how technology is transforming workplace safety on the ground.
The seminar aimed to spark collective awareness about the importance of occupational safety and health, underscoring that OHS is no longer optional but essential for sustainable safety resilience.
The event also featured cultural performances by Ratoh Jaroe UNDIP and Studio 8 FKM UNDIP, a free photo booth, complimentary health checks, a “Healthy Workers Exercise” session, and door prizes for participants. (Public Communication/ UNDIP/ FKM Team)
