UNDIP Sends Off Its Three Best Contingents to the 2025 Abdidaya Ormawa Awards

UNDIP, Semarang (December 3, 2025) – Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) reaffirmed its commitment to community service by officially sending off its three best Student Organization (Ormawa) teams to compete in the 2025 Student Organization Abdidaya Awards (Abdidaya Ormawa). The send-off ceremony was filled with enthusiasm and optimism, with a target of achieving even better results than last year in this national-level competition.

In his remarks, the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., delivered firm and motivating guidance to the contingents. This target is supported by UNDIP’s achievement last year, when it won 2nd Place in the Most Active University category. “We hope that the UNDIP contingent will win the championship at the 2025 Abdidaya Ormawa Awards. I urge the contingent to remain enthusiastic and optimistic in competing for all championship categories, including 1st Place as the Best University.”

Successful Selection and Outstanding Programs

Of the 10 PPK Ormawa teams proposed by UNDIP, 5 received funding, and 3 of the best teams were selected to represent UNDIP at Abdidaya 2025, which will be held in Malang City.

The Person in Charge (PIC) of the UNDIP’s Abdidaya Ormawa Contingent, Ir. Daud Samsudewa, S.Pt., M.Si., Ph.D., IPM., along with An’im Kafabih, S.E., M.E., expressed their pride in the achievement and emphasized the team’s readiness. “Alhamdulillah, after going through a rigorous selection process and demonstrating real impact in the field, our three best teams have officially qualified to compete in the 2025 Abdidaya Ormawa. We are confident that these programs can compete at the national level,” he stated.

UNDIP’s Three Featured Community Service Programs

  1. Student Association of the Business Administration Study Program (HMPS ADBIS), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), with a program of Entrepreneurship Development Assistance in Jabungan Subdistrict, Semarang City.
  2. Aquatic Resources Student Association (HIMASAKA), Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science (FPIK), with a program of The Climate Village Program in Bejalen Village, Ambarawa Subdistrict, to Raise Public Awareness of Climate Adaptation and Mitigation.
  3. Departmental Student Association of Agriculture (HMD Agriculture), Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences (FPP), with a program of Development of the Pisang Pongangan (PisPong) banana-based Entrepreneurship through the Srikandi Joint Business Group in Pongangan Subdistrict, Semarang City.

Support from Academic Supervisors

The UNDIP contingent is fully supported by three academic supervisors who will also compete in the Best Academic Supervisor category, namely:

  1. Rendy Ega Pradhana, M.A.B. (Business Administration),
  2. Arif Rahman, S.Pi., M.Si. (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science), and
  3. Dr. Tutik Dalmiyatun, S.Pt., M.Sc. (Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences).
