UNDIP Receives the 2025 Mitra Bhakti Husada Award from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia

UNDIP, Jakarta (December 8, 2025) Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) has received the 2025 Mitra Bhakti Husada Award from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia in the category of Office Worker Health Protection. The award certificate was presented directly to the Rector of UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Si., during the awarding ceremony at Balai Kartini Jakarta on Monday (December 8, 2025).

UNDIP Rector Prof. Suharnomo expressed his pride and appreciation for this achievement. “This award shows that UNDIP places workplace health and safety as a strategic priority. We not only aim to enhance productivity but also ensure that all staff and members of the academic community work in a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment,” he said.

He added that this achievement aligns with UNDIP’s commitment to becoming a globally excellent university that delivers societal impact. “My appreciation goes to the Vice Rector II, the UPT K3L, and all related units for their consistent work. This award is the result of collaboration,” he concluded.

During the ceremony, the Rector was accompanied by the Head of the Technical Implementation Unit for Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment (UPT K3L) UNDIP, Dr. Bina Kurniawan, S.KM., M.Kes. He stated that the award is the result of systematic and diligent efforts to create a healthy work environment.

“In recent years, UNDIP has strengthened its occupational health policies through preventive measures, education, and preparedness programs. Activities such as the Posbindu PTM program, mental health screening, first-aid training, disaster simulations, and traffic safety education have been continuously and systematically implemented,” he explained.

Dr. Bina also emphasized that this award serves as motivation to further enhance K3L management standards in the future. “We will continue to expand K3L services and innovations to ensure that workplace safety and health protection at UNDIP becomes increasingly comprehensive,” he said.

The Mitra Bhakti Husada Award is an appreciation from the Ministry of Health for institutions deemed to have contributed to strengthening occupational health and safety protection. For UNDIP, this achievement serves as an encouragement to continue innovating, expand health protection programs, and foster a healthy work culture, in line with UNDIP’s values, ‘Noble and Valuable UNDIP’.
